To All Members,

 

In view of the latest statement from Swim England, an excerpt of which appears below, the decision has been taken to suspend all training activity with effect from 21.00 tonight, Tuesday 17th March 2020 until the end of May 2020.

Having further reviewed the guidance, it is Swim England’s interpretation that club activity falls into the ‘public gathering’ category and therefore it is strongly advising clubs to consider cancelling or postponing activity – including events – until the end of May.

This cancellation will cover all squads within Competitive Swimming, together with our Synchronised Swimming and Masters sections.

We will continue to take our lead from Swim England, once this cancellation period reaches a conclusion, and will be in touch with you again, at that time.

Could all those parents who are still paying by Standing Order, please ensure that these are suspended, to avoid the need for refunds.  Anyone on the new Direct Debit system, will have their payments suspended automatically.
