County Age Group Competition 2020
Wiltshire County Age Group Competition was held at The Five Rivers Leisure Centre, Salisbury on 11th and 12th January and The Link Centre, Swindon on 18th of January 2020. Chippenham ASC had 5 swimmers that qualified and competed at this event, they were;
Evan Watt, Oliver Brown, Lola Costa Jafrate, Phoebe Weston-Burt and Paige Lavelle.
The swimmers swam a total of 23 races (not including finals) over the 3 days and lots of PB's were achieved. Wiltshire ASA ran finals for each age group in the 50m and 100m events. The fastest 8 or 6 swimmers (8 for the Salisbury days and 6 for the Swindon day) in each age group, in each 50m or 100m event, then raced again at the end of the session. Chippenham ASC had swimmers who made the finals, they were;
Oliver Brown 50m Breaststroke - 7th
Phoebe Weston-Burt 100m Butterfly - 5th
In addition to this a Regional Consideration Time was achieved;
Paige Lavelle - Regional Consideration Time - 200m Butterfly
