Last Chance Open Meets

In the lead up to the county entry deadline, Chippenham ASC had swimmers attending open meets to gain County Qualifying Times and also Regional Qualifying Times.
For the longer distances Chippenham ASC had Louis Nicholls and Lillia Barnett that attended open meets. Louis competed in both the 800m Freestyle and 1500m Freestyle. Louis swam well in both races, with huge PB’s, to gain a Regional Consideration Time in both events and a speeding ticket in the 800m Freestyle. Lillia competed in the 800m Freestyle, she swam well to gain a PB and also a Regional Consideration Time. Well done to both swimmers.
Chippenham ASC also had swimmers attend the 3 local ‘last chance’ open meets held by Calne Alpha, Tigersharks and Corsham ASC. All swimmers swam well and some fantastic PB’s were achieved. Naryani, Lola, Phoebe, Paige and Beth all achieved County Qualifying Times. Peter and Louis also secured Regional Qualifying Times. Well done to all the swimmers.
