South West Regional Age Group Competition 2022
Chippenham ASC had a team of 2 swimmers that qualified and swam at this event. They were; Oliver Brown and Evan Watt. It was held at Millfield School on 23rd and 24th April and Hengrove Leisure Centre on 7th and 8th May. This competition is open to anyone, in the south west, aged 14 and under (as of 31st December 2022) that has achieved the qualifying times at a Level 3 or above meet. The swimmers swam a total of 7 races and gained great experience at long course racing. The results were;
Oliver Brown - 50m Butterfly - 68th
50m Breaststroke - 22nd
100m Breaststroke - 23rd
200m Breaststroke - 22nd
Evan Watt - 100m Breaststroke - 37th
100m Freestyle - 14th
200m Freestyle - 21st
Lots of Long Course PBs were achieved by the swimmers. Well done to both swimmers.
