South West Regional Youth Competition 2022
Chippenham ASC had a team of 5 swimmers that qualified and swam at this event. They were; Daniel Holden, Leo John, Louis Nicholls, Holly Parker and Peter Weston-Burt. It was held at The Life Centre, Plymouth on 30th April, 1st and 2nd May. This competition is open to anyone, in the south west, aged 15 and over (as of 31st December 2022) that has achieved the qualifying times at a Level 3 or above meet. The swimmers swam a total of 9 races and gained great experience at long course racing. The results were;
Daniel Holden - 50m Backstroke - 41st
Leo John - 50m Backstroke - 37th
100m Backstroke - 33rd
Louis Nicholls - 1500m Freestyle - 6th place
200m IM - 29th
400m IM - 13th
800m Freestyle - 10th
Holly Parker - 50m Butterfly - 34th
Peter Weston-Burt - 100m Butterfly - 19th
Lots of Long Course PBs were achieved by the swimmers. Well done to all the swimmers.
