Swindon Dolphins Open Meet
Swindon Dolphins held an open meet on 30th & 31st March, at the Link Centre, Swindon. Chippenham ASC had a small team of 4 swimmers who competed in 10 races. They won a total of 7 medals (5 golds and 2 silver) and also claimed 2 speeding tickets! (This is when the swimmer has swum faster than the upper Entry Time for their age and is given a speeding ticket instead of a medal!). The swimmers were;
Peter Weston-Burt, Finley Shorland, Michaela Sheppard and Amy Hall.
All swimmers swam well and also achieved some Regional Consideration Times, they were;
Peter Weston-Burt - Regional Consideration Time - 50m Butterfly
100m Breaststroke
Finley Shorland - Regional Consideration Time - 50m Butterfly
50m Freestyle
Amy Hall - Regional Consideration Time - 50m Butterfly
