Craig Holden

I am proud to have been the Chair of Chippenham ASC since 2022. My son has been swimming with Chippenham for over 7 years and I have seen first the hand the huge benefits that club swimming has brought to his overall development as an athlete and young person. 

We have an active and dedicated committee that meet every 6 weeks to ensure the club runs as smoothly as possible. My role is to bring the committee together and hear everyone's views so that we can collectively make the best decisions for the club and take it from strength to strength.  

I want our club to be one where all our swimmers, parents and volunteers feel valued and can have their voices heard. Strong two-way engagement between coaches, swimmers and parents has to be the bedrock of our club as it is the only way our swimmers and our club will continue to improve. Although we are a competitive club, I also want our club to be one where everyone has fun and swims with a smile on their face.  

As one of the oldest Amateur Swimming Clubs in the UK, I am looking forward to preparing and leading our club into 150th anniversary in 2027..
