Wiltshire Masters Champions 2022 and 2023
Masters swimming gives the opportunity for older swimmers to continue to train, socialise and compete past age group competitions. It is eligible for those 25 years and above but also open to premasters aged over 18, with teenage swimmers often progressing into Masters.
Since the squad's formal inception in 2017, the group has developed and grown, to one of the strongest in the South West. We have swimmers competing at a range of levels, as well as County record holders, national level X champions and European Championships entrants. Over the last few seasons, we have been the top performing club in the County.
We are a race pace club, focusing on high quality training over quantity, within a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The masters squad sessions take place on 3 nights each week. The team regularly competes at County level masters galas as individuals, and/or as members of a relay team. These galas are held in March, June and October. We also host our own friendly competitions throughout the year inviting over other locals clubs.
