*There are both Entry QTs and Consideration QTs for this competition. If a swimmer achieves the Entry QT or quicker then they are guaranteed an opportunity to compete. If a swimmer achieves a Consideration QT and they wish to swim, their name is submitted to Region and once all entries are to hand Region will 'consider' the number of swimmers against the time allocated for each swim session. Swimmers with Consideration QTs may have their entries scratched (i.e. rejected) if there are too many to be accommodated. Scratched entries are usually notified to Clubs around a week or 10 days before the competition date. You do not pay for scratched entries.
