2025 Wiltshire county age group & championships

Chippenham ASC competes in the Wiltshire County ASA Age Group and Championship competition each year.  The events are held on various dates in January and February at various 25m pools around the area.

All ages are determined at 31 December in the year of competition.

Qualifying times can be found on the Wiltshire Swimming website.

Age Groups

Age Groups are for swimmers between 10-13 years who swim all 50m and 100m events with age group finals.  200m and 400m events are heat declared winners.  Medals are awarded in the following age groups, 10/11 years, 12 years, 13 years.

Championships

Championships are for swimmers aged 14 and over who swim all 50m and 100m events with finals.  200m and 400m events are heat declared winners.  Medals are awarded in the following age groups, 14 years, 15 years, 16 and over.

Long Distance

addition to these events Wiltshire County also offer a long distance competition over 800m and 1500m.  This is open to swimmers over 12 years although a time trial is available for those 11 years who can qualify as 11/12 years at Regional competition.  All swims are heat declared winners.

Entry Process

The entry process will be managed via Swim Club Manager.  You will be notified prior to the deadline of the qualification times your swimmer has met.
